Susan Sabina Cancian was born in the Northeast United States currently living in Connecticut. She studied Graphic Design and Advertising in college along with film photography, drawing and painting.

After college she began her creative career as a Graphic Artist and Designer, working for design firms and corporations while also continuing to explore and enjoy all forms of nature and fine art.

Outside of design Susan also has an education and an expertise in Holistic and Integrative Nutrition and successfully ran a coaching business for 12 years alongside her everyday creative expressions. She has a passion for immersing herself into nature to experience its healing qualities.

Susan is currently working on and building her painting series named ‘Emotion’. It is based on the concept of absorbing and appreciating the beautiful and dramatic moments in nature while intuitively expressing that calm beauty on the canvas.
